Meet Claire Garcia.

Claire Garcia is a Grant Coordinator with Lion Electric in Sacramento, California.

Before joining the company, Claire worked for a clean air and healthy lungs non-profit organization that fought against tobacco products and pollution, but also promoted the advantages of electric vehicles.
It was then, that she became intrigued by the electrification of transportation. When she was offered a position with Lion Electric in February 2019, she didn’t think twice. Today, Claire specializes in identifying, leveraging, and securing advantageous funding opportunities in California. Her job entails a lot of research, reading and writing summaries for each of the fundraising opportunities she finds.
The best part of her work? Supporting fleet managers who are trying to secure funding and helping them through every stage of the process. Her objective at Lion is to secure as many funding opportunities as possible, promote the launch of new products and services, and support school districts and managers of heavy and semi-heavy trucks as they transition to the electrification of their fleets.
